The History of Writing (Part Three) Geary Heads North

In the profound hope it doesn't spoil our credibility, it should be made abundantly clear to the reader at this point that much of what follows is to be regarded as serious hypothesis. Federally-warranted requests for personal information (including bank-records & private communication (emails, phone calls, texts) of Dr. Milo Gollander have cast light on a terrifyingly wide and insidiously well-connected dark underground--a veritable railroad-to-freedom for one of the most deplorable humans to ever draw breath from the world.

It was the intention of the authors of this document to hand-copy (you know, with a regular keyboard) select conversations/interrogations between Dr. Gollander and Thalamus Geary and the various people he spoke to whilst in pursuit of the traitorous golden child...but, in the name & benefit of saving our energy towards writing other things, we'll just tell you now that it's not gonna be until Sisyphus is "found out" or whatever that he's been reincarnated and that's what's gonna make the big fuss and then Charles Anthony is going to continue to drive semi-aimlessly east until he turns on the news and there's the hero of heroes, accidently turning all our eyes like the Great Magnet.

Speaking of Thalamus Geary, though... We can't talk about a criminal record of those proportions-- if we compare them to anything else in History or Writing, we must compare them to the most cruel and incorrigible, to Harry Anslinger, to James "Whitey" Bulger, to former Vice President Richard Cheney... There is street crime, there is organized crime, and there is simply an unlikely well of resources that contributes to & climaxes in the events of modern genocide.

Hitler would cringe in public and blush in private if he was alive to see the rabid enthusiasm for Osama bin Laden and the intervention--including indefinite occupation and extraordinary rendition--of the United States to the Middle East at the dawn of this staggeringly puzzled and obnoxiously self-congratulating century. No surprise when the Trump Years closed out and a Democrat predictably re-took office that the social airwaves were swiftly inundated with the relief and bargaining and needlessly timid I-told-you-sos of the New Elite. No surprise, either, when they lost the game that Conservative-leaning Greedheads are undisputed champions of. Whatever modesty put forth, shallow cupidity pocketed with the deft hunger of cruelty. The early 2030s, to those who remember them honestly, was a time of such conformity in an era when you'd have to refer to the end of American Segregation to accurately compare for the possibility of change within a system so obviously corrupted. The long-yearned-for Universal Basic Income (a machine of real-equality) did finally arrive with the new Republican President, but by then the so-called Opioid Crisis had produced a nationwide sense of shame and alarm so totally beyond ignoring and seemingly beyond correction of any kind, the benefits of UBI only barely sufficed to slow the daily bleeding and recrimination and paroxysms before it.

Thalamus Geary, like all others of his ilk, came to power, fast and ready. So long as junkies and drugs posed even a shadow of a threat, they'd be there to scare it back. His eyes burned with a quiet enthusiasm for marching the hapless addicts in their traffic of craving & despair about the terrible cities. His blood charged with its own acetylcholine and various neurotransmitters through a brain with a sociopath's ventralmedialPFC. A Frankenstein-monster with a silver tongue for bullying and license to go wherever he said so. Only the cold & the dark to proffer any sense of limit....

At any rate....

The current whereabouts of Dr. Milo Gollander are unknown. There is a $10,000 reward for useful information leading to his successful discovery and capture. Like they used to say in the early-2000 Bushspeak Days: there's the things that you know, the things that you don't know, and the things... or some other such horseshit.

We'll see.
